Each reading is signed locally, batched into the oracle on Flare Coston2, and made available for downstream parametric contracts.
On-device capture
Calibrated sensor primitives sample at the configured rate. Readings are time-stamped and hashed with the device key.
Edge aggregation
A local mesh node batches signed packets, dedupes against neighbour readings, and forwards over Wi-Fi / 5G / LoRa.
Oracle commit
WeatherOracle batches accept signed readings on Flare Coston2, exposing batchRecordWeather and totalRecords to consumers.
On-chain consume
Parametric contracts (insurance, climate derivatives, carbon registries) read directly from the oracle in real time.
